How empty does the home need to be?
Summerfield’s move service ↗ requires the property to be empty, including furniture, cabinets, drawers and closets. If your furniture or boxes will still be there, tell the company before booking. It may need to quote a different kind of clean.
Leave enough time between the movers, the cleaners and your final walkthrough. Ask what the team needs for water, electricity, parking and entry, and agree where any rubbish should go.
Share your landlord’s checkout list

Send the cleaner your landlord’s checkout list and ask it to mark what is included. Jobs such as carpet extraction, wall washing, exterior windows or repairs may need a separate appointment. Ask for a receipt if your property manager needs one.
Keep in mind that booking a cleaner cannot guarantee your deposit back. Your landlord will still assess the property and any other requirements.

Is cleaning for a move the same as deep cleaning?
Not always. A moving package may require empty rooms and cabinets, and the tasks can differ. Ask for both checklists before choosing.
Can I book before the movers finish?
Ask the provider. An empty home package may not apply until furniture and belongings have been removed.
Will cleaning guarantee my deposit back?
No. A cleaning service cannot determine the outcome of a separate property inspection or deposit decision.
