Home organizer prices in Greensboro

The hourly rate is only part of the decision. Ask how many people will attend and what the quote leaves out.

The examples below come from company websites checked October 6, 2026. They cover different services and are not a Greensboro average. Confirm the current terms and the work included before choosing a package.

What does an organizer hour mean?

Ask whether hours are counted for each person. If a company uses that method, two organizers working for three hours use six organizer hours. That is an illustration, not a billing rule verified for every company here.

A team may finish sooner on the clock while using the same number of billable hours. Ask the company to put the team size and expected visit length beside the package hours so you can see both.

Separate the first conversation from the working session

Organize with Jess ↗ lists a $150 planning meeting lasting 90 minutes after a free phone consultation. Its FAQ describes a conditional $100 credit toward a working session booked at that meeting. A numeric working rate was not verified.

Declutter Prescription ↗ lists a free discovery call and a $50 consultation lasting 45 minutes. Simply Easy ↗ lists a $50 home consultation lasting an hour and a separate $50 booking deposit. Ask how deposits or consultation credits apply to your bill.

A minimum session is not a finished room

At Simply Easy’s published rate, three hours works out to $225 in session labor. That is our calculation, before any separate consultation or other applicable charges. It does not mean a closet, garage or whole room is guaranteed to be finished for $225.

Ask what can realistically be done in the first session and how the company will handle unfinished work. Before buying a larger package, check whether unused hours expire or can be refunded.

Ask what else you might pay for

  • Storage bins, shelving, labels and packing materials.
  • Time spent shopping, planning or returning products.
  • Travel outside the usual service area.
  • Donation transport or disposal of items that cannot be donated.
  • Additional team members, sessions or hours.
  • Payment fees, cancellations and changes to the booking.

These are questions to ask, not charges verified at every company. Simply Easy’s rate page does list a 3% card payment fee and cancellation terms, so the payment method and notice period can matter.

A quote request you can adapt

“I would like help decluttering and organizing my kitchen and pantry in Greensboro. I want to work with you on deciding what stays and use my existing storage where possible. Please explain your minimum booking, team size, how hours are counted and any product or donation charges.”

Add photos if you are comfortable sharing them, along with your deadline and the result you want from the first visit.

Questions you might have

Which company is cheapest?

The published offers have different scopes and conditions. We have not asked every company to quote the same job, so this guide does not name a cheapest option.

Are storage products included in a package?

Do not assume so. Shopping assistance and product recommendations are different from paying for the products. Ask for a separate allowance or estimate.

Can I compare package prices by dividing by the hours?

That shows an arithmetic rate, but it does not account for different inclusions or prove that individual hours can be bought at that rate. Compare the full scope.
