Which square footage is on the quote?
For a house, ask whether the company uses floor area, exterior wall area or another measurement. Do not take a number from a property listing and assume it is the cleaner’s billing basis.
For a driveway, identify the section you want washed and any adjoining path or patio. Ask the company to confirm the measurements and total. If two estimates use different areas, settle that difference before comparing the prices.
A small job may still reach the minimum
A published rate is only part of the bill when a visit minimum applies. Ask for the final total even if you only need a few steps or a short path cleaned. If you have another job on the list, request both a separate price and a combined quote.
Bundling work does not automatically mean a discount. Confirm what is included rather than assuming that adding a driveway to a house wash costs very little.
